Board of Directors
Habitat for Humanity of Boone County is led by a volunteer Board of Directors that makes strategic and long-term decisions
for our affiliate in order to realize our vision of a Boone County without substandard housing.
In addition to our Board of Directors, the Family Services Committee plays a vital role in supporting Habitat for Humanity of Boone County’s mission. This committee is made up of two key groups: the Family Selection Committee and the Family Nurturing Committee.
The Family Selection Committee guides prospective homeowners through orientation meetings, reviews applications, and selects families to be recommended to the Board of Directors for final partnership approval.
The Family Nurturing Committee supports partner families throughout the homeownership process—answering questions, providing guidance, and ensuring all partnership requirements, including sweat equity hours, are met.
Together, the Family Services Committee helps ensure every partner family has the guidance, support, and resources they need to achieve successful, lasting homeownership.

Liz Qua | Executive Director
Before becoming Executive Director, Liz Qua served with the Habitat for Humanity of Boone County Family Services team, gaining firsthand experience supporting partner families. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University and spent several years flying for the airlines before choosing to focus on raising her children.
Liz has a passion for volunteering and brings extensive experience from her work with Habitat Boone County, as well as other service and charitable organizations in the greater Indianapolis area over the past ten years. She and her husband, Doug, live in Zionsville and have three grown children and one granddaughter.
