Our 2025 Women Build Partner

Katie is a proud Hoosier, a devoted mom of four, and a pediatric dental assistant with a heart for helping others. She first connected with Habitat for Humanity while volunteering alongside her coworkers during a Women's Build event. That experience planted a seed—what if homeownership wasn’t just a dream, but a goal she could truly achieve?

For years, Katie wanted a safe, stable home for her children but didn’t know how to reach it on her own. Through Habitat’s program, she not only gained the knowledge and skills to become a homeowner, but also the confidence to build a brighter future for her family.

“Through prayer, faith, and trust, I followed the path God placed in front of me,” Katie says. “I didn’t know how it would turn out, but I put in the effort every day—and it’s been a blessing.” Now, with the support of Habitat and its volunteers, Katie and her children will have a place to call home—a foundation for stability, growth, and generational success.
