The Women Build is a national Habitat for Humanity program designed to provide a comfortable learning environment for women to discover they can build Habitat for Humanity homes!
This year’s Women Build will be our 11th year and unite over 350 women across Boone County to build and fund a home for a hardworking family desperately in need of affordable housing. Each volunteer builder raises a minimum of $250, for a team total of $2,500.
Every team, of ten builders, spends one day on the build site completing the home in just 35 days! This is such a great way to empower women - giving them the confidence to come on our build site, learn a new skill, and give back to the community.
The funds raised during our Women Build sponsor the land, infrastructure, and materials needed for the home. Your support helps us continue to fulfill our mission of helping hard working, low income families in Boone County.
